  • Upper School Chorus to Perform at Carnegie Hall
    Members of the Friends' Central Upper School Chorus will be performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City on Monday, February 20 as part of the Distinguished Concerts Orchestra and Singers International Reflections of Life.
  • French Speakers Share Love of Language at Inglis House
    As the saying goes, when one door closes another opens.
     
    During Upper School Service Week, the agency at which French teacher Rochelle Ostroff-Weinberg was assigned to work was closed for one of the days. Instead of the original location, her group was sent to Inglis House in Philadelphia. That change was the spark for a full program for all Friends’ Central French students to share their love of the language with some residents of this home for people with physical disabilities.
  • A Day of Service for the Friends’ Central Community
    On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, more than 300 Friends’ Central students, parents, faculty, staff, and alumni/ae volunteered during the School’s annual day of service to serve those in need and to celebrate and reflect on Dr. King’s legacy.
  • Our 11th Head of School
    The Board of Trustees of Friends’ Central School is pleased to announce the appointment of Craig Normile Sellers as Friends' Central’s 11th Head of School.
