Extended Day Options (LS)

The Friends' Central Lower School Extended Day Program (EDP) seeks to create a settled, supervised environment for Lower School students who need to arrive early or stay on campus beyond the end of the school day. Extended Day provides each child with extra enrichment, scholarship, creativity, and most importantly, fun during our before-school and after-school hours. Each day, there are planned activities, as well as time for free play and homework. An allergy-friendly snack will be provided to all students in the Extended Day Program, however, students are also welcome to bring in their own additional snacks.

Hours of Operation
Early Start: 7:30 am - 8:00 am
After-School: 2:50 pm - 5:45 pm

Early Start
Children may be dropped off at the Lower School Gym beginning at 7:30 am. There is no cost for the Early Start program.

After-School Options
Parents can register for a 5-day contract,  3-day contract (days need to be determined per semester), or drop-in as needed. 
*Please note you are unable to bank unused days.   

Drop-In Service
Daily drop-in service is available and must be pre-arranged by email or phone the day before the desired drop-in.  Click here or scan the QR Code below to pay for drop-in services.

Late Pick-Up
The Extended Day Program ends promptly at 5:45 pm. After 5:45 pm, late fees apply and should be paid to the Director of Extended Day at the time of pick-up. The charge is $10 per 15-minute interval.
