Communications

The Communications Office is focused on sustaining and building on Friends' Central's reputation as a leader in Quaker education and ensuring that community members, prospective parents, and alumni/ae are up to date on news and events at the School.

We manage the internal communications and external marketing – including the School's website, weekly Just the Facts Newsletter, news stories, photos, and video – that keep our past, present, and future communities connected.

If you have any FCS-related news (including photos and video), please contact us at communications@friendscentral.org, and remember to connect with us through social media

The Friends' Central Phoenix enjoyed a strong winter 2016-2017 season, bringing home FSL Championships in boys' swimming (14th consecutive) and girls' swimming, two athletes being named Main Line Athletes of the Week, and a number of winter athletes receiving All-FSL honors. To celebrate the end of an exciting winter sports season, on March 23, winter Varsity coaches presented awards honoring most valuable and most improved players, as well as captains and All-League recipients.
Friends' Central senior Simone Gibson was named the Pennsylvania recipient of the $10,000 AXA Achievement Scholarship. One of just 41 exceptional students from around the US to receive this award, Gibson will use this scholarship to attend the college of her choice in the fall. As a part of Gibson's scholarship, Friends' Central will also receive a $1,000 grant to be used for Professional Development activities in honor of its ongoing dedication to Gibson and to the local community.
