Friends’ Central is committed to supporting the transportation needs of its students. There is a range of options available, including door-to-door service*, a free shuttle service to Overbrook train station from our City Avenue campus and a free Center City shuttle for students in Pre-K through grade 5 (after grade 5, this service is offered on a fee basis). Buses are staffed with experienced and safe drivers who meet all of the current state and federal requirements.

*Our door-to-door transportation is available to families who live within a 10-mile radius of our campuses. We plan our routes so students spend no more than 45 minutes on the bus, taking into consideration the number of riders and traffic.
