 | | Intellectual and engaging, Friends' Central's curriculum is driven and shaped by our Quaker values. We are committed to education that is challenging, thoughtful, and dynamic. Friends' Central faculty set increasingly high standards as they support each student's efforts to meet them. Our students are encouraged to approach new ideas with an open mind and unreserved respect for one another. Independent thought and the courage required to take risks in the service of learning are also encouraged. From nursery to grade 12, our students participate in a process designed to foster creative, critical, and flexible thinking. As they transform from playful children sitting in a circle, to skilled, self-possessed teenagers--still sitting in a circle--they are always intellectually curious and engaged thinkers. Friends' Central graduates are prepared to succeed in college and the world beyond. |
