| | A planned, or estate, gift is a way to guarantee the future financial security of Friends' Central School. For decades, grateful alumni/ae, parents, grandparents, and friends have made bequests to Friends' Central. The vision and wisdom of these donors extends beyond the immediate needs of the School, which are funded with annual and capital gifts. Planned giving donors have arranged bequests, established trusts, and made gifts through the School's Charitable Annuity Gifts program and Pooled Income Fund. Planned Giving donors are all members of the Blackburn Society.
Each individual legacy has contributed to the School's financial stability over the years. A continuation of this tradition of remembrance provides a source of income for Friends' Central School for many generations to come. Planned gifts are often used to build endowment and are sometimes directed to certain areas within the endowment, such as scholarships or faculty enhancements. For donors to the Pooled Income Fund and donors who have established charitable gift annuities, this generosity also results in a steady, lifetime stream of income on which they themselves can depend. |
