Apply to Lower School
Application Timeline
We are now accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year. To be considered for our first round of decisions, all application and tuition assistance materials must be submitted by December 2, 2024. First round decisions will be released in January.
In the spring, we will process applications on a rolling basis. Please note availability becomes more limited as we move through the year.
Step 1: Online Application Submission
To begin the application process, please click here. The submission of the online application is considered complete when the demographic information and parent questionnaire are completed, and the $75 fee is paid.
Step 2: Interviews
Upon submission of the online application, a member of the Lower School Admissions Team will reach out to arrange the student visit and parent/guardian interview.
Step 3: Recommendation Forms and School Reports
Please send confidential recommendation requests to your child’s current teacher through the Admissions Portal. You may also find printable ADVIS Confidential Recommendation forms here. Please note that Pre-Kindergarten applicants are not required to submit testing.
Step 4: Testing
*Nature Nursery and Pre-Kindergarten applicants are not required to submit testing.
*Applicants for Kindergarten through Fifth Grade require a WPPSI or WISC. Please schedule the assessment with a licensed psychologist. Please ask the psychologist to email the results directly to admissions@friendscentral.org.
*Please note that Friends’ Central requires applicants who have received interventions (Example: OT, PT, Speech) to submit all reports received from service providers.
