A field hockey lifer, Lisa Mansure has been involved in the Friends’ Central field hockey program ever since her arrival at the school in 1996. She’s in her seventh year as the varsity head coach after spending 12 years working with the middle school program, which followed her first stint as the Upper School varsity field hockey coach. A field hockey standout herself at Radnor, Mansure played at Wittenberg (Ohio) and coached in Michigan before returning to her home state. Lisa finally hung up her cleats after playing field hockey in the PFHA for 30 years. Additionally, Lisa has coached hockey for both the Futures Program and Filia clinics/camps. Lisa will be joined on the sidelines by assistants Jada Brown, Dafne Foote, and Joanne Gibson. Over the years, Lisa has helped a number of girls fall in love with the sport and be part of a sports team and some have gone off to play hockey in college, including recent FCS graduate goalkeeper Leah Anderson '21, who is currently playing at Colby College.
