The Phoenix softball team has always been competitive in the Friends’ Schools League, winning seven league titles in its history. That includes three straight from 2012-14, when Steve Colucci was an assistant coach with the program. Colucci is now co-head coach of Friends’ Central softball along with Sharon Morsa. Colucci has been coaching in baseball and softball for more than three decades at levels from t-ball up through high school and travel club baseball and softball. Now Steve and Sharon are guiding the team in search of its eighth league title to add another trophy to the case.
